At the Māpua Wealth Conference in October 2024, Dr Rod Carr spoke about New Zealand’s opportunity to both reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for the changing climate. He highlighted three areas that will shape a more sustainable and resilient future:

Using energy efficiently and minimising waste.
Managing our land wisely to support the prosperity of future generations.
